PRD TaskMaster

PRD TaskMaster is an open-source Claude Code plugin from Atlas AI (anombyte93) that takes a goal from a one-line idea to a written spec, a task graph and checked execution. It calls itself the Atlas engine. What you can do with it - Start with a sentence like "I want to build..." and answer a short discovery interview, one question at a time - Get a PRD scored against deterministic checks (EXCELLENT, GOOD, ACCEPTABLE or NEEDS WORK); leftover placeholders such as TBD or TODO drop the grade to NEEDS WORK - Turn the PRD into a dependency-ordered task graph with complexity scores and subtasks, stored as plain files in your repo - Work through the tasks one at a time, each needing evidence before it counts as done, with a final ship check once every gate passes How it connects - In Claude Code: /plugin marketplace add anombyte93/prd-taskmaster, then /plugin install prd. Start it with /prd:atlas or /prd:go, or just describe what you want to build. - The plugin bundles a local MCP server for the engine's mechanics and hooks that hold a task open until its evidence is in. - It needs Python 3.11 or later on Linux, macOS or WSL. The TaskMaster CLI (task-master-ai) is optional; without it the engine uses its own backend. Good to know - It's pre-alpha: the maker says the PRD grading, task graph and ship check are the most tested parts, and the newer fleet and cost-tracking features aren't battle-tested yet. - The engine is free under the MIT licence and needs no paid API key. Atlas Pro is a private pilot and isn't for sale.
