About
Agile Product Owner is a community Claude Code plugin from Alireza Rezvani's claude-skills collection. It's a single skill that gives your agent a Scrum product owner's playbook: writing user stories and acceptance criteria, splitting epics, planning sprints and ordering the backlog. What you can do with it - Write user stories in the "As a… I want… so that…" form for features, improvements, bug fixes and enablers, and check each one against INVEST - Add testable acceptance criteria in Given/When/Then form, with more criteria for bigger stories (13 points or more means split it) - Break an epic into stories of 8 points or less: by workflow step, persona, data type or operation, or happy path first - Plan a sprint: capacity is average velocity times availability, committed work fills 80 to 85% of it, plus 10 to 15% stretch - Order the backlog by business value (40%), user impact (30%), risk (15%) and effort (15%) - Track velocity, commitment reliability, scope change and carryover, and check stories against a Definition of Done What's inside - The skill's workflows, templates and tables - Two reference guides: user story templates, and a sprint planning guide (meeting agenda, WSJF, ceremonies, burndown) - Story and sprint planning templates - user_story_generator.py, a Python script that turns a sample epic into stories and loads a sprint How to install it In Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add alirezarezvani/claude-skills, then /plugin install agile-product-owner@claude-code-skills. Good to know - It's a community plugin, MIT licensed. - It's written for Scrum. The author says it isn't meant for Kanban-only or waterfall planning, or for SAFe and LeSS without adapting it. - The Python script works on its bundled sample epic, so it shows the format rather than reading your own backlog. - It doesn't connect to Jira, Linear or other trackers: stories and plans come back in the chat or as files.
