About
Oracle NetSuite's own plugin for SuiteCloud developers and SuiteApp teams. It bundles agent skills that load when a request matches, so your agent writes SuiteScript and SDF projects that follow NetSuite's governance, security and SAFE Guide practices. What its skills cover - SDF best practices from the SAFE Guide: Object XML for every script type, governance limits, security patterns and defensive coding - Custom roles and permissions: customrole XML, script deployment permissions and least-privilege access, checked against NetSuite's permission IDs - A records and fields reference for NetSuite record types: field IDs, types, required status and search support - Upgrading SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.x code to SuiteScript 2.1, with API mappings and breaking behaviour changes - OWASP secure coding for JavaScript and SuiteScript, with good and bad code patterns - UIF single-page apps: API and type lookup for @uif-js/core and @uif-js/component - SDF project documentation: README, architecture diagrams, deployment runbooks and troubleshooting tables - Learning modes that explain, annotate and quiz you on SuiteScript and SDF code How to install it In Claude Code, it's in Anthropic's official plugin marketplace: run /plugin install netsuite-suitecloud@claude-plugins-official. Oracle also publishes the same skills in its SuiteCloud SDK repository for other coding agents, installed with npx skills add oracle/netsuite-suitecloud-sdk. Good to know - It's skills only: no MCP server and no sign-in. It doesn't connect to your NetSuite account; it helps your agent write, review and document the code and files in your project. - For finance analysis on live NetSuite data, Oracle publishes separate plugins, NetSuite Finance Analyst and NetSuite AI Companion, which need the NetSuite AI Connector Service.
