Dropbox's own plugin for Claude. It connects your agent to your Dropbox account through Dropbox's MCP server, with skills that guide it to find, inspect, organize, share and clean up your files. It respects your existing Dropbox permissions: the agent only works with files you can already access. What you can do with it - Search Dropbox for files and folders by name, keyword, type or location, and browse folders - Read and summarize supported files, and check their details and when they last changed - Create or reuse shared links, and see which links already exist - Create file requests to collect uploads from other people - Create folders, and copy or move content into a cleaner structure - Save text the agent writes to Dropbox as text-based files such as .txt, .md, .html or .py (not images or PDFs) - Review files or folders to delete, and delete them only after you confirm the exact list Its skills - find-dropbox-content: search and browse without changing anything - inspect-dropbox-file: file details, shared-link state and file content - share-dropbox-content: create, reuse or inspect shared links - collect-files-with-request: create, inspect and list file requests - organize-dropbox-folder: create folders, and copy or move content - clean-up-dropbox-content: review and delete, with explicit confirmation How it connects The plugin uses Dropbox's hosted MCP server. Add it in Claude (Customize, then Plugins), in Claude Cowork or in Claude Code, then sign in to Dropbox and review the permissions it asks for. In an organization, a Claude admin has to allow it first. Good to know - It confirms before every change: creating folders, file requests or shared links, and copying, moving or deleting. - People you send a shared link to request access before they can view it. It can't share directly with named people or manage viewers yet. - Version history and restoring files aren't available yet.
