Before you start
In Claude Code run claude plugin install mattpocock-skills@claude-plugins-official. Install it one way only: using the plugin and npx together gives every skill twice. Then run /setup-matt-pocock-skills once in each repo. It asks which issue tracker you use, your triage labels and where docs are saved.
Get grilled first
/grill-me interviews you about a plan until every branch is resolved. The maker says to grill before you build, and the next step depends on it: /to-spec writes up what was discussed and does not interview you, so a thin conversation gives a thin spec. If you keep a glossary and decision records, /grill-with-docs also updates them as it goes.
Say to Claude Code/grill-me [describe the plan or feature in a few sentences]
Write the spec, but look first
/to-spec turns the conversation into a spec on your issue tracker. Ask to see it before it is published.
