Draw your cloud architecture in draw.io, then redraw it for a slide

Before you start

Add draw.io's server at https://mcp.draw.io/mcp: it needs no account. In Claude Code, install Diagram Design with /plugin marketplace add cathrynlavery/diagram-design, then /plugin install diagram-design@diagram-design. The hosted draw.io server only receives what your agent sends it to draw, so leave secrets and private hostnames out of the diagram. The first time you use Diagram Design in a project it asks whether to set up your brand. To match your site, say "Onboard diagram-design to https://yoursite.com" and check the changes it proposes before you confirm.

Draw it from the code

Point the agent at the real definition so the diagram shows what exists, not what someone remembers.

Say to Claude Code

Read the infrastructure code in [infra folder] and draw our cloud architecture as a draw.io diagram, using the proper icon for each service. Only draw what the code defines.

Fix it by asking

If your agent shows the diagram inline you can zoom and pan. Agents that can't show it inline give you a link instead.
