About
Intercom's own plugin for coding agents. It connects your agent to your Intercom workspace through Intercom's hosted MCP server and adds four skills: analysing conversations, building a customer profile, installing the Intercom Messenger and installing the Intercom CLI. What you can do with it - Find the most common topics in open conversations and spot support patterns - Investigate a customer's issue: their profile, every conversation and the full threads, internal notes included - Build a customer 360 profile from an email or a company name, with conversation history, key themes and a timeline - Look up contacts and companies, with their custom attributes, tags and segments - Install the Intercom Messenger with JWT-based identity verification in React, Next.js, Vue.js or plain JavaScript - Install and sign in to the @intercom/cli command-line tool How to install it In Claude Code, run /plugin install intercom. In Google Antigravity, install Intercom from Customizations, Plugins, Discover, or choose Install from URL with https://github.com/intercom/claude-plugin-external. How it connects The plugin bundles Intercom's remote MCP server at https://mcp.intercom.com/mcp. It asks you to sign in to your Intercom workspace with OAuth the first time it's used. Good to know - The bundled address is Intercom's US endpoint, so the plugin suits US-hosted workspaces. Intercom's MCP docs give https://mcp.eu.intercom.com/mcp for EU-hosted ones; AU-hosted workspaces aren't supported yet. - It mostly searches and reads. Intercom's current MCP server can also create and update Help Center articles and add internal notes to conversations, which only teammates see; it can't send replies to customers. - Workspaces with Fin Operator also get tools to send Operator work and review or apply the changes it proposes.
