About
A community-built MCP server by Neil Pullman (neiltron). It isn't made by or affiliated with Apple. It lets your agent answer questions about your Apple Health data, such as sleep, workouts, activity and heart rate, by running SQL queries with DuckDB over a CSV export on your own computer. What you can do with it - See which tables, columns and units your export has (health_schema) - Run analytical queries, such as daily heart-rate averages, step totals or hours asleep (health_query) - Get a weekly, monthly or custom summary of heart rate, activity, sleep, workouts and calories (health_report) How it connects It runs on your machine with npx -y @neiltron/apple-health-mcp and needs Node.js 22 or newer. First export your data on your iPhone with the Simple Health Export CSV app, unzip it on your computer and set HEALTH_DATA_DIR to that folder. Apple's own export.xml format isn't supported. Optional settings are MAX_MEMORY_MB (default 2048) and CACHE_SIZE (default 100). Your health data - The server reads the files in place. It doesn't upload the export or make network requests, but query results go to your agent, which may send them to its model provider. - Every tool can reach your whole export history, so only use it with an agent you trust with that data. - The maker says its health reports summarize recorded data and are not medical advice. Good to know - It only reads your exported files; it can't change anything in Apple Health. - Several devices can record overlapping data, so totals may double-count unless a query splits them by source. - Run it from a local agent. The maker warns against exposing it to untrusted network clients.
