What WeChat Article Skills does
About
WeChat Article Skills is an open-source skill pack from aiworkskills for running WeChat Official Accounts. A main skill chains the steps from topic to published article, and it stops for your confirmation at each one. What you can do with it - Research trends and get topic cards, headlines and summaries - Write a full draft from a topic or outline, or rewrite, continue and polish one, with your agent or an OpenAI-compatible model you choose - Review a draft for sensitive words, typos and platform rules before it goes out - Turn Markdown into WeChat-ready HTML with built-in themes and layout components - Generate cover and in-article images that match the article - Publish to the draft box or send to followers through the official WeChat API, across more than one account - Keep a product knowledge base and image library so articles about your own products reuse what you've saved How it connects - Clone the repo and run scripts/install-skills.sh to add the skills to Claude Code or Cursor; the README covers other agents. - Publishing uses your Official Account's AppID and AppSecret, kept locally in aws.env. The skill exchanges them with WeChat for a short-lived token. - You can fill in your account, style and publishing settings on aiworkskills.cn and import them as a preset. Good to know - The skills' instructions are in Chinese, with an English README. - Start in draft mode to check the result before sending to followers. - It's open source under the Apache 2.0 licence. The "aws" in the skill names stands for AI Work Skills.
