What Bub does
About
Bub is an open-source, composable agent runtime by bubbuild. This pack bundles the Agent Skills that ship with it, so your agent can message over Telegram, work with GitHub from the command line, and author new skills. The three skills in the pack - telegram: send a message to a Telegram user, group or channel, reply to a specific message, edit an existing message, or push a proactive notification through the Telegram Bot API, with rich formatted messages when the content needs structure - gh: run GitHub operations through the gh command-line tool, including repositories, issues and pull requests, releases, Actions workflows and gists - skill-creator: a guide for writing a new skill or updating one, with Bub's conventions for where skills live and how to keep them concise How it installs - Install the skills with npx skills add bubbuild/bub, or get the full runtime from bub.build. - The telegram skill needs a Telegram bot token (BUB_TELEGRAM_TOKEN). The gh skill expects the gh CLI to be installed and authenticated; it reports a blocker rather than switching credentials on its own. Good to know - The skills are written for the Bub runtime and refer to Bub's own tools and configuration. - Open source under the Apache 2.0 license.
