What MindMemOS does
About
MindMemOS is an open-source long-term memory layer for AI agents. This skill pack teaches your agent to use the mindmemos command-line tool, so it can store what you tell it, recall it in later sessions, and keep that memory accurate over time. You can use the MindMemOS cloud service or run the server yourself. What you can do with it - Store facts, preferences and conversation turns. MindMemOS pulls out what lasts and merges it with what it already knows - Search memory before answering, with fast vector recall or a multi-step agentic search, optional reranking and a token budget - List, update or delete specific memories when one is stale, wrong or sensitive - Send feedback when a recalled memory was wrong or missing, and run a background "dreaming" pass that consolidates memories - Register, version and roll back skills with the CLI's skill commands - Follow its guides to wire memory into OpenClaw and DeepSeek Harness, so memories are recalled and written automatically How it connects - Install the CLI with pip install mindmemos-sdk (or pipx or uv tool install), then run mindmemos auth with an API key, a user id and the server address. - Use the cloud service at mindmemos.cn with a key from its website, or self-host the open-source server, which runs on Docker with your own chat and embedding models. - Scope reads and writes with a stable user id so memories don't mix between people. Good to know - The pack also includes a small xlsx skill (openpyxl basics) that the project uses as the starting point for its spreadsheet skill-evolution experiments. - Guides for Codex and Claude are listed as planned. - It's open source under the MIT licence.
