About
McCosmos is a community skill by ayingQAQ, built for McDonald's China's programmer festival contest; it isn't an official McDonald's product. It turns questions about McDonald's China menu items into data-backed comparisons, filters and alternatives, using nutrition data from McDonald's own MCP server or a dated snapshot bundled with the skill. What you can do with it - Compare two items side by side, with each nutrient's raw value and the difference - Filter by category and calories, such as breakfast items under 400 kcal sorted by calories - Find similar items with fewer calories, and see which nutrition dimensions make them similar - List a drink's sizes without mixing up cup sizes - Open the matching page in the McCosmos 3D nutrition map How it works - The skill runs a bundled Node.js script (Node 24 or later) over a nutrition snapshot, so everyday comparisons need no token or network - For the latest data, connect McDonald's China MCP server to your agent; the skill then analyses that call's response and states its source and fetch time - It says when nothing matches rather than loosening your limits, and treats missing values as missing, not zero Good to know - It answers in the language you ask in; the menu data is McDonald's China's - Nutrition similarity isn't a health score and the skill gives no medical advice; it never reads accounts, orders, payments or coupons - Download the standalone skill package from the repo's releases and put the mccosmos folder in your agent's skills directory - MIT licensed
