Lesson Generator is a Claude Code plugin from DAIR.AI Academy. Ask for a course on a topic and its skill builds a compact, multi-lesson course you open in a browser: a lesson sidebar, learning objectives, flashcards, quizzes and source links, written as plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no backend. What you can do with it - Turn a topic into a 6 to 8 lesson course, or a single lesson if that's what you ask for - Make an interactive study guide from material you paste, such as a vocabulary list - Build a course with source cards that link to the papers or pages you share - Get flashcards and quizzes for a subject What each course has - A course overview and a numbered lesson list with progress cues - 2 to 4 learning objectives per lesson - 2 to 3 flashcards per lesson that flip in place - 1 to 2 knowledge-check questions per lesson with instant feedback, plus a final cumulative review - Real, clickable source links when you give it sources or your agent searches the web How it works - The skill plans the course first (a title, a short description, and ordered lessons with goals and key concepts), then writes index.html, styles.css and script.js. Open index.html in a browser to study. - Before it finishes, it checks that the script parses, lessons switch, flashcards flip, quizzes give feedback and source links render. - It needs no API key or outside service. How to install it In Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add dair-ai/dair-academy-plugins, then /plugin install lesson-generator@dair-academy-plugins. DAIR.AI says most of its Academy plugins also run in the DAIR Academy AI Builder, without installing anything. Good to know - It writes its three files to the root of your current workspace, so run it in a folder meant for the course.
