What Tutor Skills does
About
Tutor Skills is bevibing's open-source pair of Agent Skills that turn any knowledge source into an Obsidian StudyVault and then quiz you on it, closing the loop from content to comprehension. The two skills - tutor-setup: transforms PDFs, text, web pages or a source-code project into a structured Obsidian StudyVault, with interlinked notes, a map of content, dashboards and practice questions. It auto-detects document mode or codebase mode (an onboarding vault for new developers). - tutor: an interactive quiz tutor over an existing StudyVault. Take a diagnostic assessment, study a topic, drill the weak areas from earlier sessions, and track your progress at the concept level. How it installs - Install both skills with npx skills add bevibing/tutor-skills. They work with Claude Code, Cursor and other agents that support skills. - The StudyVault is a folder of Markdown notes you open in Obsidian; the skills read and write it in your workspace. Good to know - Quizzes run four questions a round, graded, with concept tracking that feeds the next session. - Open source under the MIT license.
