About
IELTS Writing Review Skills is a community pair of skills by Aaron Liang that lets your agent review an IELTS Academic Writing answer the way a teacher would. Give it a Word document with the task and the student's writing, and it returns a reviewed copy with comments, scores, rewrites and a model answer. What you can do with it - Review Academic Task 1 answers on charts, tables, maps, process diagrams and mixed visuals, checking the visual first - Review Task 2 essays of every type: opinion, discussion, problem-solution and advantages/disadvantages - Insert real Word comments anchored to the student's own paragraphs - Score against the public IELTS band descriptors, with brief feedback - Add short italic rewrites after weak sections (Band 7.5 by default) and a four-paragraph model answer (Band 8.0 by default) - Ask for another target band in your prompt, such as Target band: 7.0 How it works - Plain Agent Skills with scripts for DOCX extraction, generation and validation, built for Codex and Claude Code - Input is an unreviewed .docx: the task first, then the visual or outline, then the student's writing - The original file is kept; the review is saved as a separate copy Good to know - Scores are an AI estimate in a teacher's style, not an official IELTS result - A community project, not affiliated with the IELTS partners; the repository's samples reference Cambridge practice tests - MIT licensed
