Shopify skills by Jezweb

A community plugin by Jeremy Dawes (Jezweb), not made by Shopify. Its three skills teach Claude Code to set up Admin API access to your Shopify store, then create products and content in it through Shopify's GraphQL Admin API or a CSV import. What its skills cover - Setup: install the Shopify CLI, sign in to your store, get an Admin API access token with the right scopes, keep it in .dev.vars and check the connection - Products: create and update products and variants, upload product images, add products to collections and set inventory - Bulk imports: build a Shopify product CSV from a spreadsheet, a website or a description, for catalogs of 20 or more products - Content: pages, blog posts, redirects, and SEO titles and descriptions on products, pages and articles - Navigation menus, through browser automation where the API falls short - Slash commands for setup, products and content How to install it In Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add jezweb/claude-skills, then /plugin install shopify@jezweb-skills. The skills are written for Claude Code, because they run the Shopify CLI and curl in your terminal. Good to know - There's no MCP server: the skills call Shopify's Admin API directly with an Admin API access token (shpat_) from a custom app on your store. - The setup skill walks you through making that custom app in your store admin. Shopify now creates new custom apps in its Dev Dashboard (ones made before 2026 stay in the admin), so you may get the token there instead. - New products start as drafts, and the skill checks with you before making them active. - Keep the token out of git: the setup skill stores it in .dev.vars and makes sure that file is in .gitignore.
