It installs Mapbox's agent skills, which teach your agent how Mapbox apps should be built and load when a request matches, and connects three of Mapbox's hosted MCP servers so the agent can also act on live data, your styles and the docs. It's also in Anthropic's official plugin marketplace. The skills alone install with npx skills add mapbox/mapbox-agent-skills, which also covers Cursor and VS Code with GitHub Copilot. Good to know The Mapbox and DevKit servers ask you to sign in to your Mapbox account the first time they're used; the docs server needs no sign-in. You need a Mapbox account, which is free to create. The DevKit server can change styles and tokens in your account, within the scopes you grant.
