About
Harness's own Claude plugin for its CI/CD pipelines. Its eight skills teach your agent to write Harness pipeline YAML, create triggers and templates, run and monitor executions, diagnose failures, manage deployment freeze windows and move pipelines to the v1 format, working through the Harness MCP server. What its skills cover - create-pipeline: v0 pipeline YAML for CI (build, test, Docker push) and CD (Kubernetes, Helm, ECS, serverless), with approvals, parallel stages, matrix builds and rollback - create-pipeline-v1: the simplified v1 syntax, with action steps, strategies, caching and templates - create-template: reusable step, stage, pipeline and step group templates - create-trigger: webhook, scheduled (cron) and artifact triggers - run-pipeline: runs pipelines with their inputs, watches progress, handles approvals, retries failures and aborts stuck executions - debug-pipeline: breaks down any execution by stage and step, with timing, bottlenecks, failure details and logs - manage-freeze-windows: creates, lists, toggles and deletes deployment freeze windows, and turns a project's global freeze on or off - migrate-pipeline: converts v0 pipelines to v1, keeping variables, failure strategies and conditions How to install it In Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add harness/harness-skills, then /plugin install harness-pipelines@harness-skills. Its skills run as /harness-pipelines:<skill>, for example /harness-pipelines:create-pipeline. It's one of several Harness plugins in the same marketplace; Cursor and Codex install the whole harness-skills collection as one plugin instead. Good to know - The skills work through the Harness MCP v2 server (harness-mcp-v2), which isn't bundled with the plugin. Add it separately with your Harness API key. - Before running a pipeline that targets production, run-pipeline confirms with you and shows what will be deployed.
