About
Circle's own plugin for coding agents that build stablecoin apps. It bundles Circle's agent skills, best-practice guidance for USDC payments, crosschain transfers, wallets and smart contracts, with Circle's MCP server for SDK and documentation details that change often. What its skills cover - USDC on EVM chains and Solana: balances, transfers, approvals and checking transactions - Crosschain transfers with CCTP through App Kit or Bridge Kit, and one USDC balance across chains with Circle Gateway - Choosing between developer-controlled, user-controlled and modular (passkey) wallets, then building with each - Arc, Circle's blockchain where USDC is the gas token: chain setup, contract deployment and bridging USDC to it - Circle's Smart Contract Platform: deploying, calling and monitoring contracts - Token swaps and an embedded buy-crypto onramp widget with App Kit - Agent payments: charging per call in USDC with x402 and Gateway Nanopayments, and setting up, funding and paying from a Circle agent wallet with the Circle CLI How to install it In Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add circlefin/skills, then /plugin install circle-skills@circle. The skills alone install with npx skills add circlefin/skills. The MCP server It includes Circle's hosted MCP server, which searches Circle's documentation and coding resources, so the agent can look up current SDK method signatures, contract addresses and chain IDs. It needs no sign-in. Good to know - Skills are instructions and patterns that steer the code your agent writes; your agent still writes it, and you decide what gets built. - The agent-wallet skills can pay for services in USDC from your Circle agent wallet through the Circle CLI. - Setting or resetting an agent wallet's spending limits needs a one-time code, so the agent hands you the command to run in your own terminal. - Circle says output can contain errors, omissions or outdated information, including fee settings, and that you're responsible for checking it before you act on it.
