# Yuan > A destiny-reading skill that turns one set of birth details into a reading from BaZi, bone weight, Zi Wei, numerology and astrology. Yuan (元) is shizhilya's Agent Skill for traditional destiny readings. It asks once for your birth details, then draws on six methods to write a single finished reading instead of a tour through each system. What it does - Collects name, gender, birth date and time, birthplace and calendar type first, and asks again if anything is missing or if a lunar date needs confirming - Reads from six reference methods in one package: BaZi (Four Pillars), Cheng Gu bone weight (称骨), Zi Wei Dou Shu, numerology, Western astrology and Vedic astrology - Delivers the reading in a fixed order: input confirmation, the bone-weight verse, an overall verdict, career, wealth, relationships, a five-year window (two years back, this year, two years ahead) and advice - Offers a conservative or a direct tone How it works - It's an Agent Skill: copy the yuan folder into your agent's skills folder (for example ~/.claude/skills/yuan or ~/.agents/skills/yuan). The maker documents Codex and Claude Code. - Basic readings need no installs. For precise charts, the Python scripts and data under each method can be enabled; BaZi uses a bundled rules engine. Good to know - It's traditional metaphysics for reflection and entertainment, and the skill is told not to present it as scientific fact or to use words like "destined". - When a method can't be charted reliably (no exact birth time, or no ephemeris), it marks that method as blocked rather than making up positions. - A community project by shizhilya.
