What the skills teach your agent - postgres: one entry point that loads the right guide for the task, including safe schema migrations on production databases - design-postgres-tables: data types, constraints, indexes, JSONB patterns and partitioning - schema-exploration: read-only exploration of an existing database through pg_catalog, asking before it looks at any rows or statistics - design-postgis-tables: geometry or geography, coordinate systems (SRIDs) and spatial indexes - pgvector-semantic-search: storing embeddings, HNSW indexes, quantization and filtered vector search - postgres-hybrid-text-search: BM25 keyword search combined with vector search using Reciprocal Rank Fusion - setup-timescaledb-hypertables: hypertables, compression, retention policies and continuous aggregates - find-hypertable-candidates and migrate-postgres-tables-to-hypertables: score existing tables for conversion, then migrate and validate them How it installs - Add them all with npx skills add timescale/pg-aiguide, or one at a time, such as --skill postgres or --skill schema-exploration. - The skills are instructions and SQL patterns.
