Logo Design Skill

Logo Design Skill is a community Agent Skill by kaankiziltug that takes your agent through professional logo and brand-mark design, from the first brief to production files. It works in Claude, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and other agents that read SKILL.md skills. What you can do with it - Design a logo, wordmark, monogram, symbol, app icon or favicon from a brief, or redesign and critique an existing one - Get 8 to 12 one-line concepts, three of them built as clean geometric SVGs, shown as one overview with a recommendation - Test a mark at 16 px, in one colour, reversed and on a competitor shelf before you commit - Once you pick a direction, get the kit: colour, lockups, a presentation board with industry mockups, favicon and app-icon exports, and brand guidelines How it works - It follows a set process: brief, research into category conventions, concepts, testing and refinement, then a checkpoint. It stops at the checkpoint and produces the full kit only after you choose a concept. - It chooses the mark type deliberately (wordmark, letterform, pictorial, abstract, emblem, mascot or a combination) and applies optical corrections such as overshoot. - A reference library of more than 1,400 real-world SVG logos, classified by type, technique, geometry and industry, helps it study conventions and avoid look-alikes; the skill is told never to copy them. - Dependency-free Python scripts audit SVGs, build concept and test sheets, render PNGs and export icon sets. It works best with a model that can view images, since it checks its own renders. How to install it - In Claude Code: /plugin marketplace add kaankiziltug/logo-design-skill, then /plugin install logo-design@logo-design-skill. - In the Claude app, upload logo-design.zip from the latest release under Settings, Capabilities, Skills. - For other agents, copy the skills/logo-design folder into your agent's skills directory. Good to know - It's a community project; its own code is MIT-licensed. The reference logos are their owners' trademarks, included only as study material and not covered by that license.
