About
ktx is Kaelio's open-source context layer for data agents. It teaches your agent to query your warehouse accurately from approved metric definitions, joinable columns and the business knowledge it builds and maintains for you. This pack bundles the ktx Agent Skills for installing it, asking questions of your data, and reading its semantic layer. The three skills in the pack - ktx: installs and configures ktx in a project, connects your data sources and embeddings, installs the agent integration, ingests your schema and verifies the setup - ktx-analytics: answers a question that needs data from a ktx-connected database, from "how many" and "show me" to breakdowns, record lookups, period comparisons and metric explanations - sl: reads and queries ktx's semantic layer, a YAML catalog of sources, measures, joins and segments, so predefined metrics like ARR, churn, retention and MAU come back consistently How it works - ktx ingests your data stack and docs into a version-controlled knowledge base, then resolves grains, validates joins and compiles read-only SQL against the warehouse. - Install the skills with npx skills add Kaelio/ktx. ktx also exposes a CLI and an MCP server. - Run ktx with your own LLM API keys or a local agent sign-in, such as Claude Code or Codex; ktx adds no usage billing of its own. Good to know - It documents connectors for Snowflake, dbt, LookML and Notion, with cloud-hosted and self-managed deployments. - Queries it compiles are read-only. - Open source under the Apache 2.0 license.
