# genart

> A generative artist's skill for long-form gen art: hash-seeded, resolution-agnostic sketches for Art Blocks, 256ART, Verse and more.

Made by generative artist Camille Roux, this skill gives your agent the working knowledge of long-form generative art: one algorithm makes a whole edition, and each output comes from the hash the blockchain hands it at mint time.

- **Determinism:** choosing a PRNG and seeding it from the token hash, named sub-streams, and the things that silently break reproducibility.
- **Resolution:** rendering the same composition at 400px and at 4000px.
- **Features and rarity:** designing traits and rarity tables that hold up across an edition.
- **Platforms:** guides for Art Blocks, 256ART, Verse, Highlight, Plottables, bootloader.art, self-hosted drops and Artpoint (art on screen). It reads each platform's current docs before writing platform code.
- **Tooling:** debug GUIs, keyboard shortcuts, PNG and video export, and SVG for print and pen plotters.
- **Verification:** two scripts check that a sketch really is deterministic and render one seed, a contact sheet, a rarity census or a batch of PNGs, so the agent can look at its own output.
- **Ethics:** it won't reproduce a living artist's signature work, credits borrowed algorithms and palettes, and is straight about what AI did.

It covers Canvas 2D, p5.js, three.js/WebGL and SVG. The scripts come with the Claude Code plugin install from Camille Roux's marketplace and need Playwright in your project. MIT licensed.
