# ecom-a11y-audit > Audits a Shopify store for WCAG 2.2 AA and says who can fix each issue: the theme, the app that injected it, or the clash between them. ecom-a11y-audit is Kurt Elster's community skill for accessibility audits of Shopify storefronts. Point your agent at a store and it returns a prioritized WCAG 2.2 AA findings report, with every finding attributed to the party that can actually fix it: the theme, the app that injected the markup, or a collision between them. What you can do with it - Audit a store by sampling one page per theme template (home, product, collection, article, content page and cart), picking the most app-heavy product page - Scan with axe-core and HTML_CodeSniffer through pa11y, plus an optional Lighthouse score - Re-measure color contrast after animations settle, so fade-in effects don't produce false failures - Check what scanners can't: alt text quality, useless link names, semantic HTML and readability - Tab through the storefront in a driven browser to find focus traps, invisible tab stops, missing skip links and reflow problems at 320px - Get fix routes per app (Rebuy, Okendo, Klaviyo, Judge.me, Yotpo and more): widget settings, or a support ticket to forward - File one tracker task per grouped finding on request (ClickUp via MCP in the reference flow) How it connects - Install it as a Claude Code plugin from the maker's own marketplace, or with npx skills add for other agents. - Its scan script runs pa11y and Lighthouse through npx and needs Node.js, Chrome or Chromium, and Python 3. - The interactive pass drives the store through Claude in Chrome or Playwright. - It works on password-protected dev stores and unpublished theme previews. Good to know - Shopify storefronts only: it checks the target is Shopify before scanning.
