About
Wals-pro's suite for working on Microsoft Power Automate cloud flows from a coding agent: eight Agent Skills plus a local, open-source power-automate CLI built on the Dataverse Web API and the Power Platform API. Flows become JSON files you can pull, diff, back up and deploy like code. It's a community project, not affiliated with Microsoft. What you can do with it - Pull a live flow's definition and connection references to a JSON file, then diff it against the live flow - Deploy a change safely: the CLI reads the live flow, writes a timestamped backup, patches the definition and reads it back to verify - Create new solution-aware flows in a development environment, and start or stop flows - Diagnose a failing flow from its run history and failed actions before you change anything - Write and check expressions, and configure triggers, actions and connection references for Outlook, SharePoint, Dataverse and HTTP - Design flow architectures with scopes and error handling, and move work through solutions from DEV to PROD The skills - power-automate-api-client: drives the CLI - power-automate-docs: points each task to the right Microsoft Learn page - power-automate-reference: the Workflow Definition Language functions, trigger and action types and schema - power-automate-expression-syntax, power-automate-action-configuration, power-automate-workflow-patterns, power-automate-run-forensics and power-automate-solutions How it works - Install the CLI with pip (Python 3.10 or later) and sign in once with the Azure CLI (az login); tokens come from that session and nothing is stored - Point it at an environment and flow with flags, POWER_AUTOMATE_* environment variables or a profiles file - Copy the skills into your agent's skills folder, such as .claude/skills/ in Claude Code Good to know - It's beta (v0.3), so commands and skill contents may change between releases - The skills create new flows in development only and send production changes through your deployment pipeline - MIT licensed
