# Anatomy Isometric Figures

> Has your agent explain a technical idea as an interactive isometric figure of a real machine, built from many small shaded parts.

Anatomy is an Agent Skill by Ryan (wheresryan22) that explains an idea by building it as a real, working object. Instead of boxes and arrows, your agent invents a physical thing whose working is the concept: a cache key that skips work becomes a pin-tumbler lock, one GPU context serving many canvases becomes a gantry plotter. It then builds that object from dozens of small, solid, shaded parts, in a framed card with a title, a hint and a live readout, moving calmly under the pointer and the keyboard.

What you can do with it
- Ask for a figure that explains an idea, such as a rate limiter, a connection pool or a CDN cache, and give it the real numbers
- Name the object yourself, such as an espresso machine or a Bunsen burner, and say what should move
- Get a standalone HTML page, a lone SVG file, or React/Next.js components, in a light or dark theme
- Add WebGL shaders for fire, exhaust, water, caustics and lamp light that sit inside the drawing, in the same isometric camera
- Try the 3D mode (beta) for parts that turn, flex or break off
- Print a figure as an A4 poster, technical drawing or detailed explainer PDF

How it works
- The skill has your agent collect the true numbers first, invent the object, write a parts list, build the geometry with its bundled drawing kit, paint back to front, frame it and add eased motion
- Every number the figure shows comes from the same small model that moves its parts
- It checks its own work: a geometry audit proves nothing passes through anything, and headless Chrome screenshots and close-ups catch lines that end in mid-air
- Eight complete examples ship with it, from a small dial gauge to a rocket engine in a test stand

How to install
- Run npx skills add wheresryan22/anatomy, or clone the repository into your agent's skills folder
- Then ask for a figure, or type /anatomy (in Codex, $anatomy)

Good to know
- A community project by Ryan (wheresryan22), MIT licensed
- Written for Claude Code; the maker also documents Antigravity, OpenCode, Codex and MiniMax Code
- Needs Node.js 20.10 or later, and Chrome or Chromium for the checks. No API keys and nothing to npm install
- It is slow on purpose: a figure takes a long session
- It draws machines, instruments, tools and furniture, not charts, people or exact maps
- When you ask, it can submit a figure to the Anatomy community gallery as a pull request, after showing you what it will send
