# AIDD PM > AI-Driven Dev's product skills: your coding agent drafts Product Briefs, PRDs, specs, Epics, User Stories, Spikes, Defects and Tasks. AIDD PM is the product-management plugin of the AI-Driven Dev (AIDD) framework, an open-source set of plugins that brings a software development life cycle into coding agents. Its skills handle backlog work with you: framing a product opportunity, writing requirements and specs, and slicing and refining Epics, User Stories, Tasks, Spikes and Defects, asking before it writes anything. What its skills do - Product Brief: frame a product opportunity and how it will be validated, keeping evidence apart from assumptions - PRD: draft a structured Product Requirements Document (overview, problem, goals, non-goals, user stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, open questions), confirmed before it's saved - Spec: turn a request or a PRD into a feature's fixed contract for planning to work from - Epic: frame and review an outcome-based Epic - User Stories: slice work into vertical stories, write their acceptance, check readiness, and estimate or order them only when useful - Three Amigos: review an Epic or Story through product, delivery and quality lenses - Spike, Defect and Task: record an uncertainty to investigate, a product mismatch to verify, or bounded delivery work - Ticket info: show a ticket from the ticketing tool your project has configured, found by id or from the current branch name How it works - It saves its documents as Markdown in your repository under aidd_docs/, with backlog items in aidd_docs/backlog/. - Product and lifecycle decisions stay with you: it doesn't invent estimates or priorities, and it asks for your approval before any write. How to install it In Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add ai-driven-dev/framework, then /plugin install aidd-pm@aidd-framework. The framework's releases also have bundles for Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, OpenCode and Kilo Code.
