About
AI PRD Workflow is a community project by Nurettin Çoban for RFC-driven development with coding agents. Its eleven skills take an idea, or a codebase that already exists, to a reviewed PRD, prioritised features, project rules and small RFCs in dependency order, then implement and review them one at a time. Every step writes a Markdown file the next step reads, so decisions outlive the chat. What its skills do - create-prd interviews you about the idea, a few questions at a time, and writes PRD.md. document-existing reads an existing codebase instead, then asks what the code can't tell it. - verify-prd finds gaps, contradictions and claims that can't be built as written, and writes PRD-REVIEW.md. - extract-features turns requirements into FEATURES.md, with permanent IDs and MoSCoW priorities. - generate-rules writes RULES.md, the standards your agent must follow, with dependency versions checked against the registry. - generate-rfcs splits the work into small RFCs in dependency order, then has a fresh reader check each one. - test-strategy plans the tests for each RFC before any are written. - implement-rfc plans, waits for your approval, writes the code, then runs the build and tests to prove each criterion. - review-rfc reviews the code against the RFC, the rules and the test plan, in a fresh context. - manage-changes checks a change against past decisions and updates every affected file together; workflow-status reports what's done, what has drifted and what to do next. How to install it In Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add nurettincoban/ai-prd-workflow, then /plugin install prd-workflow@ai-prd-workflow; the commands are then /prd-workflow:create-prd and so on. For Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenCode and Devin, the repo's install.sh puts the skills in your project. Restart your agent after installing. Good to know - It's instructions for your agent, with no server, account or API key. It writes Markdown files in your project, and code only after you approve a plan. - IDs never change: a script checks that requirements, features, rules and RFCs still cite each other correctly. - It's a community project by Nurettin Çoban, open source under the MIT licence.
