# Zoom MCP

> Lets your agent search your Zoom meetings, recordings, notes and docs, schedule meetings and turn what was said into follow-up Zoom Docs.

Zoom's main hosted MCP server. It gives your agent your Zoom meetings, recordings, notes, Team Chat and Zoom Docs, so you can find where a topic was discussed, build agendas, capture notes and action items, and write follow-up documents from your meetings. It can also schedule and change meetings for you.

What you can do with it
- Search across meetings, Team Chat, Zoom Docs, meeting notes, Zoom Phone calls, texts and voicemail, and your calendar in one request
- Ask a question in plain words and get an answer with citations, drawn from your Zoom data and connected apps such as Google Drive and Salesforce (this needs a ZoomMate licence)
- Find meetings by keyword and date, and get a meeting's summary, cloud recording, whiteboards, docs and agenda
- List your cloud recordings and get a recording's transcript, summary, next steps and playback link
- Read a note from My Notes, with its meeting transcript if you want it
- Create, update and delete meetings, and in a live meeting you host, start, pause or stop the cloud recording and invite participants
- Read Zoom Docs and Hub files, create new docs from Markdown, and change who a doc is shared with

How it connects
Zoom hosts it at https://mcp.zoom.us/mcp/zoom/streamable, and also offers regional gateways (such as mcp-eu.zoom.us). Sign-in is OAuth with a Zoom app you register yourself, because Zoom doesn't support automatic client registration. A Zoom admin or developer creates a General app in the Zoom App Marketplace, adds the scopes for the tools you want and adds your agent's OAuth redirect URL. You then give your agent the server address with the app's client ID and secret. Zoom documents this for Claude, as a custom connector, and for ChatGPT, as an app in developer mode with a user-defined OAuth client.

Good to know
- Each tool needs its own scope on your Zoom app, and you need licences for the Zoom products it reaches.
- Listing cloud recordings needs a Pro plan or higher with cloud recording turned on.
- Rate limits are shared with Zoom's APIs, apply to the whole account and depend on your plan.
- Zoom also runs separate MCP servers for single products, such as Chat, Tasks and Whiteboard.
