# Wix MCP

> Lets your agent search the Wix developer docs, write code for Wix, and make API calls on your Wix sites, from store coupons to blog posts.

Wix's own MCP server. It lets your agent search the Wix documentation, write code for the Wix platform, and make API calls on your Wix sites, so you don't have to find and apply the docs yourself.

What you can do with it
- Search the Wix REST, SDK, Headless, Build Apps and Wix Design System docs, and read full articles and API method schemas
- List the sites in your Wix account and look up a site's details and installed apps
- Work with a site's business data through Wix's APIs: store coupons, bookings and staff, CMS collections, contacts and inbox messages, and blog posts
- Create, update and publish sites, and install Wix apps such as Wix Blog
- Upload images to a site's Media Manager
- Write code for Wix Headless sites and Wix apps, such as a login page or a dashboard form
- Send feedback to Wix from the chat

How it connects
Wix hosts it at https://mcp.wix.com/mcp, and at https://mcp.wix.com/sse for agents that connect over SSE. You sign in with your Wix account the first time your agent uses it. For tools such as n8n, you can authenticate with a Wix API key and your Wix account ID instead. Agents that can't connect to a hosted server can reach it through Wix's @wix/mcp-remote bridge, which needs Node.js 19.9.0 or later. In Gemini CLI it also installs as an extension.

Good to know
It can change your live sites, so Wix suggests turning off your agent's auto-run mode so it asks before each tool call. Say "Wix" and name the business solution in your ask (Stores, Bookings or Events, for example) so your agent picks the right API.

In ChatGPT on the web: Plugins → + → Add custom MCP server, then paste https://mcp.wix.com/mcp under Connection. Business and Enterprise plans; Pro can add read-only servers.

### Claude

In Claude (web or desktop): Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste https://mcp.wix.com/mcp

### Muse

In Muse: In a Muse chat, ask it to create a custom connector for the MCP server at https://mcp.wix.com/mcp. Then tap Connect on the card it shows and sign in, or add your key.

### Grok Bot

In Grok Bot: In a chat with your Bot, say "Add this MCP server: https://mcp.wix.com/mcp". It confirms the details with you and sets it up, and the tools are ready from your next message.
