# Webhook Inspector

> Webhook test URLs your agent creates and watches: catch requests, read headers and bodies, and set the reply. Free, no signup.

Webhook Inspector is a free webhook tester and HTTP request inspector. Its MCP server lets your agent work with webhooks by itself: create a capture URL, give it to Stripe or GitHub, wait for the delivery, read the headers and body, change the response and try again. You no longer copy payloads from the browser into the chat.

What you can do with it
- Create capture URLs such as https://webhook.voronyuk.com/<hash>/stripe, and list or delete them
- Wait for the next request to arrive and get it with its headers and body
- List and search captured requests, filter them by method, and read any one in full
- Set what a URL answers with (status, headers, body and a delay) to test retries, errors or timeouts
- Clear a URL's captured requests
- In ChatGPT, search and fetch captured requests in deep research

How it connects
- A hosted server at https://webhook.voronyuk.com/mcp
- No signup: when you connect, a consent page opens and you click Allow. Your agent then works in the same session (the same URLs) as your browser, so everything it does shows up live in the web tool.
- Scripts and clients without OAuth can send the session token as an Authorization: Bearer header instead
- The maker's guide covers Claude, ChatGPT (developer mode), Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code

Good to know
- Captured requests are sent by third parties. The server marks them as untrusted data, but review what your agent does with them, especially when a URL is public.
- Requests are deleted after 72 hours. A session holds up to 10 URLs, and each URL keeps its latest 1,000 requests.
- The MCP server can't reach your computer, so it can't forward webhooks to localhost; the site's CLI agent or browser relay does that.
- Access is granted per agent and can be revoked in the web tool under Connected apps.
