# VeritaHire Hiring Intelligence

> For employers: see how a US job posting's pay compares with other employers hiring nearby, and the hiring market for a role.

VeritaHire's hosted MCP server for employers. Point your agent at one of your open US job postings and it shows the posted pay range for that role within 25 miles and how many employers are competing for it. It can also describe the hiring market for an occupation, and check whether any posting is still open. Everything is read from employers' own careers sites, re-read on a schedule.

What you can do with it
- Compare one posting with the market: the posted pay range within 25 miles and how many employers are hiring the same role (competitors are counted here, not named)
- See the hiring market for an occupation, nationally or in one state: live postings, employers hiring, posted pay and employment type
- Check whether a posting is still on the employer's careers site: open, closed or unknown, with when it was last confirmed
- Get a link to VeritaHire's full Competitive Hiring Report, which names each competitor with the pay it posts and how fast it closes the role. It also works for a role you're only planning to post. The first report is free.

Roles it covers
US healthcare, finance, IT, engineering, science, HR, legal and marketing roles, such as nurses, therapists, pharmacists, accountants, software engineers, attorneys, recruiters and marketers.

How it connects
Add https://veritahire.com/mcp/employers to your agent as a remote MCP server. There's no sign-in and no key. VeritaHire's docs say any MCP client can use it, including ChatGPT as a custom connector.

Good to know
- It works with job postings and market data only. None of its tools take candidate details or screen, rank or score people.
- The server sends no email and takes no email address. The full report link opens on veritahire.com, where the hiring manager enters their own work email.
- A posting it hasn't analysed yet comes back as "building", with a time to try again.
- For job seekers, VeritaHire runs a separate server for searching live jobs.
