# Vercel MCP

> Vercel's official MCP server: your agent searches Vercel's docs, checks projects and deployments, reads logs and queries Web Analytics.

Vercel MCP is Vercel's official hosted MCP server. It gives your agent secure access to your Vercel teams and projects, so you can check deployments, chase down errors in the logs and look things up in the docs without opening the dashboard.

What you can do with it
- Search and navigate Vercel's documentation
- Find projects and inspect their settings, or create a project from a Git repository
- List and inspect deployments, read build logs and create preview deployments
- Read and filter runtime logs, and investigate grouped runtime errors and the routes they affect
- Fetch pages from your deployments, including protected ones you can access, or make a shareable link to one
- Query Web Analytics: visitors, page views and custom events
- Work with domains and DNS, environment variables, feature flags, firewall settings, sandboxes and more

How it connects
Add https://mcp.vercel.com to your agent, then sign in with your Vercel account and grant access to the teams you want it to work with. Your existing Vercel permissions still apply. Run vercel mcp --project in a linked project to point your agent at a project-specific address (https://mcp.vercel.com/<org>/<project>), so the session is scoped to that one project.

Good to know
Vercel only lets AI clients it has reviewed connect; its supported list includes Claude, ChatGPT and more. Connecting gives your agent the same access as your Vercel account, so Vercel recommends keeping human confirmation on for changes. It's available on all Vercel plans.
