# trivago MCP

> Lets your agent compare live hotel prices across booking sites, search stays near any place, and forecast when a destination is cheapest.

trivago's own MCP server brings trivago's hotel search into your agent. Ask in plain words, with a destination, dates, guests and any filters, and it returns live hotel offers compared across booking sites, each with its price, rating, amenities and a link to book.

What you can do with it
- Search hotels and other stays by destination or point of interest, for your dates, guests and rooms
- Search near exact coordinates, such as a stadium, an address or a neighborhood
- Filter by star rating, guest rating and amenities, such as pet-friendly or breakfast included
- Forecast monthly hotel prices for a destination by star rating, to find the cheapest time to go

How it connects
trivago hosts it at https://mcp.trivago.com/mcp. It needs no sign-in and no API key. In Claude, open Connectors, search for trivago and connect (on Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans). In ChatGPT, find trivago in Apps and enable it. Cursor and VS Code install it in one click from trivago's MCP page, and it's in the MCP Registry.

Good to know
It searches and compares; you book on the provider's site through each offer's link. Price trends are a forecast, not live availability. In ChatGPT, results show in trivago's own widget. trivago offers it free.
