# Swifteq Zendesk MCP

> Swifteq's hosted MCP server for Zendesk: tickets, CSAT, SLAs, macros and Help Center, read-only unless you allow changes.

Swifteq's hosted MCP server connects your agent to your Zendesk account, so reports, trend checks and QA reviews come from your live Zendesk data. Swifteq is an independent company in Dublin that has made Zendesk apps for years. This is its own server, listed on the Zendesk Marketplace, not Zendesk's official one. It's read-only unless you allow changes.

What you can do with it
- Build reports from live data: ticket volume, first reply and resolution times, SLA achievement, contact reasons and CSAT, split by group, brand, agent, channel or week
- Find what's driving ticket volume by reading full conversations, attachments and screenshots from email, messaging and WhatsApp
- See which unsolved tickets most need attention under your SLA policies
- Look up users and organizations with their custom fields, such as an account ID, plan or ARR
- With changes allowed: draft replies as internal notes, update fields and tags, create tickets and link incidents to a problem ticket
- Draft and update Help Center articles across every brand, saved as drafts by default
- Find unused or overlapping macros, preview what a macro would do, and with macro changes allowed, update, create or switch them off

How it connects
First create a free Swifteq account and authorize your Zendesk, choosing read only or read and write. Then add https://mcp.swifteq.com/api/mcp/mcp to your agent and sign in with your Swifteq account (OAuth, no API keys). Swifteq supports Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code) and ChatGPT with Developer mode, and says Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot Studio work too.
- Claude Code: add --callback-port 8080 to the claude mcp add command, or sign-in fails with "Callback URL mismatch".
- Cursor and other clients: email Swifteq first so it can allow your client's callback URL.
- Claude and ChatGPT need a paid plan to add a custom connector.

Good to know
- Each teammate connects their own Zendesk login, so their role and groups apply and their changes are attributed to them.
- Public replies, publishing articles, changing users and organizations, and changing macros each stay off until an account owner turns them on. Nothing can be deleted or merged.
- Swifteq fetches ticket content when your agent asks and doesn't store it, and runs no AI model of its own.
- Free for 500 tool calls a month per Zendesk account, with paid plans for unlimited calls.
- Works with Zendesk Support and Zendesk Suite. Zendesk limits CSAT to admins, and macro usage counts need Professional or Suite Growth and above.
