Supabase's own plugin for coding agents. It bundles the Supabase MCP server with Supabase's agent skills, so your agent can query your database, manage migrations and deploy Edge Functions, and follow Supabase and Postgres best practices while it works.

The MCP server
It includes Supabase's hosted MCP server (https://mcp.supabase.com/mcp), which lets your agent manage your projects, run SQL and migrations, read logs and advisors, and deploy Edge Functions. The first time your agent uses it, your browser opens so you can sign in to Supabase and authorize access. If you already added the Supabase MCP server by hand, remove it after installing the plugin so your agent doesn't load the same tools twice.

How to install it
In Claude Code, it's in Anthropic's official marketplace: run claude plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-official, then claude plugin install supabase@claude-plugins-official, then /reload-plugins. In Gemini CLI, run gemini extensions install https://github.com/supabase-community/supabase-plugin. npx plugins add supabase-community/supabase-plugin finds the coding agents on your machine and installs it in each of them. Supabase also documents it for Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Antigravity and more.

Good to know
It lives in supabase-community, Supabase's GitHub organization for community projects, and Supabase's docs link to it as the official plugin. Its skills are synced from Supabase's agent-skills repository.
