# SportsTrackLive

> Lets your agent analyze GPX, IGC and FIT traces for thermals, wind and laps, follow athletes live and build 3D replays.

SportsTrackLive's own MCP server. SportsTrackLive does live GPS tracking and 3D replays for outdoor sports such as paragliding, hang gliding, gliding, sailing, cycling, running and skiing. The server gives your agent its sport-specific analysis engine and its public live-tracking data: hand it a trace file and get thermals, flight phases, wind and laps back, check who's out live right now, or turn your own trace into a 3D replay.

What you can do with it
- Analyze a GPS trace (GPX, TCX, IGC, SBP or FIT, up to 8 MiB): distance, speeds, altitudes and splits, plus, depending on the sport, thermals with climb statistics, flight phases with glide polar and MacCready speed-to-fly, a wind estimate and laps around course marks
- See who is broadcasting live right now, by sport and country, with their position, speed and a link to watch
- Search public tracks and athlete profiles, and get a public track's full statistics
- Get the 3D replay link of a public track
- Turn your own trace into a private 3D replay, kept for 7 days
- Save a trace to your SportsTrackLive account

How it connects
SportsTrackLive hosts it at https://mcp.sportstracklive.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Add it as a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT (with developer mode on), or as a remote MCP server in other agents. Everything works without an account except saving a trace to your account, which signs you in to SportsTrackLive with OAuth.

Sending a file
Your agent can pass a public link to the file, upload it from a shell, or inline a small file. Hosted chat agents that can't send files give you a one-time upload link instead: drop the file there in your browser and tell your agent when it's done.

Good to know
- File analysis is stateless: traces are processed in memory and uploads expire after 15 minutes.
- The search and live tools only ever return public tracks and profiles.
- The anonymous tier is rate-limited per IP address.
