# Sports Events Results MCP

> Lets your agent look up sports teams, a league's upcoming fixtures and its latest results, through Nexlab's hosted service.

Sports Events Results MCP is a hosted server from Nexlab, a catalogue of MCP servers run by Stefy Lanza. It looks up sports teams, events, and a league's upcoming fixtures and recent results from public sports data APIs. It's a third-party service, not a product of any league, club or sports data provider, and its page on Nexlab doesn't name the data source; Nexlab says each answer names the sources behind it.

What you can do with it
- Search sports teams by name
- See a league's upcoming events, with the English Premier League as the default
- See a league's most recent results
- Search sports events by text

How it connects
Nexlab hosts it at https://mcp.nexlab.net/mcp/sports-events-results. It needs a Nexlab account: agents that support sign-in can connect with Nexlab's OAuth, and others take an API key from your Nexlab account page, sent as an Authorization: Bearer header (or X-API-Key). The first 50 calls each month are free; past that, Nexlab sells a monthly plan or pay-per-call credit. The same key also works at https://mcp.nexlab.net/mcp, where every Nexlab server you use appears together.

Good to know
- Leagues are picked by their id in the underlying data
- It only looks things up and changes nothing
- Nexlab's terms ask you to stay within the terms of the data sources it draws on
