# SoftSync

> SoftSync's own plugin: your agent finds and updates CRM records, reads customer emails, books meetings, writes notes and sets reminders.

SoftSync's own plugin connects your agent to your SoftSync CRM. It bundles SoftSync's hosted MCP server, which gives the agent the tools to read and change your SoftSync data, with SoftSync's agent skills: short guides that teach the agent which tool to use, in what order, and when to ask you first. It's for SoftSync customers and needs a SoftSync account.

What you can do with it
- Find, create, update and merge companies, contacts, deals, tasks and custom records, and count or chart them
- Read emails, notes and saved meeting summaries linked to a customer, and search them by content
- Check calendar events from connected Google and Outlook calendars, and book, move or cancel meetings on your booking pages
- Write notes after a call and set one-time or repeating reminders
- Write email templates and send them to one contact or a list
- Manage public forms, groups, views and report dashboards
- Run your automations, or draft a new one for you to review
- Look up company and person details and save them to your records

How to install it
In Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add Softsync-Lab/softsync-skills-hub, then /plugin install softsync@softsync. In Gemini CLI, run gemini extensions install https://github.com/Softsync-Lab/softsync-skills-hub. SoftSync's README also covers Codex, Cursor and Claude.ai, and the skills alone install with npx skills add Softsync-Lab/softsync-skills-hub, with the connection (https://api.softsync.ai/mcp/softsync) added in your agent's MCP settings.

Signing in
The first time your agent uses SoftSync, it sends you to SoftSync to sign in and choose a workspace. No API key is needed, and the agent can only see and change what your SoftSync account can.

Good to know
- The skills tell the agent to ask before anything that can't be taken back: sent email can't be recalled, merging records can't be undone, and booking or cancelling a meeting notifies real people.
- Deleted records go to the Bin and can be restored within 30 days.
- SoftSync says AI, MCP and API access are included on every plan.
