# Slides.com

> Lets your agent find, summarize, create, edit and share your Slides.com presentations, and preview decks right in the chat.

Slides.com's own hosted MCP server connects your agent to your Slides.com account. Ask it to build a deck, update slides, summarize a presentation or share it, and it does the work in Slides for you. In agents that support MCP Apps, you can browse your deck library and preview a deck right in the conversation, and open previews stay in sync as the deck changes. The server is in beta.

What you can do with it
- List, search and open your decks, and your team's team-visible and public decks
- Create decks, and add, edit, move or remove slides, including speaker notes
- Read slides in batches and capture a screenshot of a slide
- Move decks to the trash and recover them
- Create and revoke private share links
- Export a deck as a PDF or ZIP

How it connects
Slides.com hosts it at https://mcp.slides.com/. Add it as a remote MCP server, sign in to Slides and click Allow access. In Claude, Slides.com is in the plugin directory under Settings › Plugins, so there's no address to paste. Slides.com documents setup for Claude, ChatGPT (with developer mode on), Claude Code, the Codex CLI and Cursor. For tools that can't sign in with OAuth, you can create a Slides API key and send it as an Authorization: Bearer header instead.

Good to know
- It needs an active paid Slides.com subscription (Lite, Pro or Team).
- When you sign in, choose Full access to let it create, edit, share and export, or Read-only to let it view your presentations without changing them.
- You can disconnect a tool at any time from Connected apps in your Slides settings, and it loses access straight away.
- Deck exports are limited to 10 an hour per person.
