# Skyvern

> Skyvern's hosted MCP server: your agent drives a cloud browser, fills in forms, logs in with stored credentials and pulls data from sites.

Skyvern's own hosted MCP server. It gives your agent cloud browsers to drive in plain words or with selectors, plus Skyvern's tools for logging in, pulling out data and building agents that run on their own.

What you can do with it
- Open, reuse and close cloud browser sessions, then navigate, click, type and pick options on any page
- Pull structured data out of a page as JSON, check what's on it, or take a screenshot
- Log in with credentials stored in Skyvern, including 2FA, so your agent never handles the passwords
- Build, run and monitor Skyvern agents, and put them on a schedule
- Work with tabs, iframes, file uploads, network and console logs, browser profiles and saved browser state

How it connects
Skyvern hosts it at https://api.skyvern.com/mcp/. In Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex you sign in to Skyvern in your browser, with no API key. Other agents send your Skyvern API key (Settings, then API keys) in an x-api-key header. Scoped addresses serve a smaller set of tools: /mcp/x/browser to drive a browser, /mcp/x/build to create agents, /mcp/x/operate to run and monitor existing ones, and /mcp/x/lean for a small browser set.

Good to know
Runs use your Skyvern account's credits. If you self-host Skyvern, the same server runs locally over stdio with skyvern run mcp. Skyvern processes the pages, screenshots and credentials involved in what you ask, so connect only accounts and sites you're allowed to automate.
