# SKU.io

> Look up products, stock and orders in your SKU.io account, and, if you allow it, draft orders, adjust inventory and more.

SKU.io's official MCP server for its inventory and order management system for multi-channel e-commerce. Your agent can look up products, stock per warehouse, sales orders and purchase orders. If you allow changes when you connect, it can also create draft sales and purchase orders, adjust inventory, record supplier invoices and more.

What you can do with it
- Check stock per warehouse, with units on order
- Find products at risk of running out
- Look up sales orders and their status, and search purchase orders
- Create draft sales orders and purchase orders, and submit a purchase order to its supplier
- Make inventory adjustments, create products and update their prices
- Record purchase invoices and vendor credits, save list views and draft workflows
- Look up most other SKU.io records through its API, with changes limited to a set SKU.io has reviewed for agents

How it connects
SKU.io hosts it at https://mcp.sku.io/mcp, and every account uses the same address. Add it as a custom connector and sign in with OAuth: you pick the SKU.io account, View data is always on, and Allow changes lets you choose which areas it may change (Orders, Purchasing, Inventory, Products, Accounting, or Settings & automations). Clients that can't sign in with a browser can use a connection token from Settings, Developer, MCP Server instead; a token can only look things up.

Good to know
- It sees and changes only what your SKU.io role allows.
- It can never delete or void anything, or manage users, roles, billing or tokens.
- Sales orders, purchase orders and vendor credits it creates are drafts, and the workflows it drafts aren't published.
- An admin can switch agents off for the whole account, or keep them read-only.
- Every call is listed on the Activity tab under Settings, Developer, MCP Server.
- Your Claude or ChatGPT plan has to allow custom connectors.
