# Shopify Commerce by OrcaQubits

Shopify Commerce by OrcaQubits is a community Claude Code plugin for Shopify development, made by OrcaQubits rather than Shopify. It adds a Shopify expert subagent, 21 skills and two safety hooks, and it tells your agent to check Shopify's current developer docs before writing code, so API versions, GraphQL schemas and extension targets come from the docs rather than from memory.

Safety hooks
- Before a shell command runs, it blocks destructive Shopify commands, such as pushing to the live theme, deleting a theme, force-deploying an app or sending a DELETE request to a store, and it warns before theme pushes, app deploys and releases.
- After a file is written, it warns if it finds hardcoded Shopify tokens, API secrets, Stripe live keys or private keys.

How to install it
In Claude Code, run /plugin marketplace add OrcaQubits/agentic-commerce-skills-plugins, then /plugin install shopify-commerce@agentic-commerce. The hooks need Python on your PATH.

Good to know
- It doesn't connect to a store itself. It guides the code your agent writes and the Shopify CLI commands it runs.
