# Rulebase

> Lets your agent read your Rulebase workspace: support conversations, QA evaluations, complaints and SLA results, with read-only SQL.

Rulebase's own MCP server. Rulebase monitors every AI and human customer interaction across chat, voice and workflows, from helpdesks and contact centres such as Zendesk, Freshdesk and Five9, and finds where outcomes break. The MCP server lets your agent read that workspace, so you can ask questions about your conversations, calls, QA evaluations, complaints and SLA results in plain words.

What you can do with it
- Check which organization you're connected to, and read the workspace's schema
- Query your organization's conversations and evaluations with read-only SQL
- Get QA, SLA and team performance summaries
- List scorecards and read their criteria
- List and search complaints
- Look up employees and coaching sessions, and open a single conversation for context

How it connects
Rulebase hosts it at https://mcp.rulebase.co/mcp; workspaces in the EU region use https://eu.mcp.rulebase.co/mcp instead. Add it in Claude Code with claude mcp add, as a custom connector in Claude, or in Cursor's MCP settings, then sign in to Rulebase in your browser. Sign-in is OAuth and per person, so your agent sees your organization's data with your role. Rulebase API keys are for its REST API and don't work with the MCP server.

Good to know
- Rulebase isn't self-serve: your company needs a Rulebase workspace (request access at rulebase.co), and you join it by invitation from an admin.
- The SQL tool is read-only. Some workspaces also expose write tools.
- Rulebase also publishes free, open-source agent skills for customer operations (npx rulebase-skills), including ones for setting up and querying this server.
