# Refapp Help

> Answers how Refapp works from its help center, explains its statuses and terms, and links the article it used.

Refapp's own MCP server for its help center. Refapp runs digital reference checks for recruiters and hiring teams. Refapp Help lets your agent answer how Refapp works from Refapp's public help articles, and link to the one it used.

What you can do with it
- Search the help center in English, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish
- Read a full article and summarize it
- Explain what a candidate, project or background check status means, as shown in any of Refapp's languages
- Explain basic Refapp terms such as project, candidate, referee, questionnaire, report and project template

How it connects
Refapp hosts it at https://help-mcp.refapp.com/mcp, with no sign-in. In Claude, add it as a custom connector and leave the sign-in fields empty. In ChatGPT (Business, Enterprise or Edu), add it as a custom MCP server and choose No authentication. On a team plan, an admin can add it once for everyone.

Good to know
- It only reads help center articles and Refapp's status descriptions. It can't see your Refapp account, projects or candidates.
- Your questions go to Refapp's server. The help center is hosted by HubSpot, so the search words are passed on to HubSpot's site search. Refapp says neither it nor the connector stores your questions.

### ChatGPT

In ChatGPT on the web: Plugins → + → Add custom MCP server, then paste https://help-mcp.refapp.com/mcp under Connection. Business and Enterprise plans; Pro can add read-only servers.

### Claude

In Claude (web or desktop): Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste https://help-mcp.refapp.com/mcp

### Muse

In Muse: In a Muse chat, ask it to create a custom connector for the MCP server at https://help-mcp.refapp.com/mcp. Then tap Connect on the card it shows and sign in, or add your key.

### Grok Bot

In Grok Bot: In a chat with your Bot, say "Add this MCP server: https://help-mcp.refapp.com/mcp". It confirms the details with you and sets it up, and the tools are ready from your next message.

### Gemini

In Gemini: At gemini.google.com: Settings → Connected Apps → Add a custom app, then paste https://help-mcp.refapp.com/mcp
