# Parse.ly MCP

> Lets your agent query your Parse.ly analytics: top content, authors, referrers, campaigns, goals, trends and real-time readers.

Parse.ly's own hosted MCP server, which brings your content analytics into your agent. Connect once with your Parse.ly login, and your agent can read the same numbers you see in the dashboard, such as views, visitors and engaged minutes, across every site your account can reach.

What you can do with it
- Get a site overview for today, this week or this month, or a real-time pulse of who's reading right now
- See daily, weekly and monthly traffic trends with month-over-month comparisons
- Rank top posts, videos and pages, or authors, sections, tags, channels and audience segments, by any metric
- Search for specific posts and dig into one post's timeline, referrers and engagement
- See where traffic comes from, and which of your pages send readers to a given page
- Check conversions, goal pacing, campaigns, headline test results, network rankings and Apple News discovery
- List and manage saved groups, and get product questions answered from Parse.ly's own docs

How it connects
Parse.ly hosts it at https://dash.parsely.com/mcp over streamable HTTP. It signs in with OAuth 2.1, so there are no API keys to copy: you log in to Parse.ly in your browser and click Authorize. It's an official connector in ChatGPT and Claude, and Parse.ly documents connecting more agents by its address.

Good to know
- Every tool runs with your existing dashboard permissions, so your agent only sees the sites your account can already access.
- Access tokens last an hour. Most agents refresh them automatically; if yours doesn't, reconnect.
- Agents that only run local servers can reach it through the mcp-remote bridge, which needs Node.js 18 or newer.
