About
OVHcloud's own MCP server, hosted by OVHcloud. It lets your agent manage your OVHcloud services and account in plain language: you describe what you want, and your agent picks the matching OVHcloud API tool. What you can do with it - Manage Public Cloud instances: create, start, stop, reboot, resize and snapshot them - Work with object storage, Managed Kubernetes clusters and container registries, and managed databases - List your domain names, check expiry dates and name servers, and change DNS records and redirections - Simulate a domain name order, then place it once you approve the quote - Manage your VPS, dedicated servers, web hosting and more of your OVHcloud services - Check your account, bills and orders, and open or reply to support tickets How it connects There's nothing to install. Add it to your agent as a remote MCP server (streamable HTTP), using the address for the region your OVHcloud account is in: - Europe: https://mcp.eu.ovhcloud.com/mcp - Canada: https://mcp.ca.ovhcloud.com/mcp - United States: https://mcp.us.ovhcloud.com/mcp Leave the headers empty. The first time your agent connects, a browser window opens on the OVHcloud login page; sign in through OAuth2 and your agent reuses that session. There's no API key to copy. Good to know - It acts with your permissions, checked on every call. With OVHcloud IAM you can give it only the access it needs. - Read every confirmation before you accept it, especially for deletions and name-server changes. A confirmed domain order creates a real order form, which you pay yourself in your browser. - OVHcloud's MCP hub (https://mcp.eu.ovhcloud.com/index.html) lists the services it covers. Each one is also a section with its own address, such as https://mcp.eu.ovhcloud.com/mcp/v1_domain for domain names, if you'd rather connect only the tools you need. - It's in beta, and OVHcloud adds services to it regularly.
