# NVIDIA Skills

> Finds the right NVIDIA skill for your task, from CUDA and cuOpt to robotics and Omniverse, and installs it when you say yes.

NVIDIA's own plugin for coding agents. Rather than bundling every NVIDIA skill, it ships one: the NVIDIA Skill Finder. When you ask about an NVIDIA product or workflow, it checks NVIDIA's live skills catalog, recommends the skills that fit, and gives you the install command and a useful first prompt for each. It asks before installing anything.

What its skill does
- Spots requests about NVIDIA products, SDKs, GPUs and drivers, such as CUDA, NIM, NeMo, Omniverse and OpenUSD, Isaac, RAPIDS and cuDF, cuOpt, Dynamo, TensorRT, DeepStream and Jetson
- Checks the live catalog before naming a skill, using the skills CLI when your agent has a shell, or the catalog on GitHub and NVIDIA Build otherwise
- Recommends up to three skills, ordered by confidence, each with why it fits, its install command and a first prompt
- Hands off to a matching NVIDIA skill you already have installed
- Stays out of the way for generic tasks, such as web routes, CSS tuning or ordinary deploys, that have nothing to do with NVIDIA or GPUs

NVIDIA's verified skills span agentic AI (RAG, AI-Q, NemoClaw), Physical AI and Omniverse, robotics and Jetson, vision AI (DeepStream, video search and summarization), conversational AI, simulation and modeling, data science (cuDF, cuPyNumeric), training (NeMo, Megatron-Core, DALI), inference (Dynamo, NIM), decision optimization (cuOpt), GPU development, quantum computing (CUDA-Q), infrastructure and networking (DOCA, BlueField). NVIDIA says each verified skill is scanned, evaluated, signed and documented with a skill card.

How to install it
It's in Anthropic's official Claude plugin marketplace: in Claude Code, run /plugin install nvidia-skills@claude-plugins-official. NVIDIA also ships it to Codex's and Cursor's plugin marketplaces. The skills it recommends install with NVIDIA's command, npx skills add nvidia/skills.

Good to know
It has no MCP server and needs no sign-in or API key. Skills install only after you approve, and some clients need a restart or reload to pick up a newly installed skill.
