# Notify Me!

> Lets your agent read your Notify Me! demand and analytics and change back-in-stock, pre-order, wishlist and low-stock settings on Shopify.

Notify Me! is a Shopify app for back-in-stock alerts, pre-orders, wishlists and low-stock messages. Its hosted MCP server lets your agent read your shop's settings and aggregate analytics, and change settings and widget appearance, in plain language instead of clicking through the admin.

What you can do with it
- See your shop's plan and status, and the settings for Back in Stock, Pre-Order, Wishlist and Low Stock (get_shop_overview, get_bis_settings, get_preorder_settings, get_wishlist_settings, get_low_stock_settings).
- See unfilled back-in-stock demand by product and variant, with request counts and estimated revenue, over 7, 30 or 90 days or all time (get_demand_summary).
- Read aggregate performance: back-in-stock requests, notifications and recovered revenue, pre-order revenue, wishlist insights and low-stock alert status (get_bis_performance, get_preorder_analytics, get_wishlist_insights, get_low_stock_status).
- Turn each service on or off and change its options, such as the back-in-stock product selection, the pre-order mixed-cart alert, and wishlist guest mode and sharing (update_bis_settings, update_preorder_settings, update_wishlist_settings, update_low_stock_settings).
- Read, show or hide, and recolour the Back in Stock, Pre-Order, Wishlist and Low Stock widgets on your storefront pages (for example get_bis_widget_appearance, set_bis_widget_display and update_bis_widget_colors).

How it connects
Point your agent at https://mcp.notify-me.app/mcp and send your Notify Me! API key in an Authorization: Bearer header. In the Notify Me! admin, open the Notify Me! MCP integration under Settings, Integrations, then create the key on the API keys page. Notify Me! says setup works best in Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and the Gemini CLI; Claude Desktop and ChatGPT need the header added by hand, and some desktop agents can't add one yet.

Good to know
- The MCP integration is part of Notify Me!'s Plus plan.
- A key works only on its own shop, so your agent can't reach another store.
- Its reads are aggregate and leave out customer and merchant personal data.
- Changes apply to your live storefront, just as they would from the admin, and each one returns what changed.
- You can revoke a key at any time from the API keys page.
